When I watch S3Ep4 ~~ the Old Friends episode ~~ how are the guys that Penelope's sisters married aren't considered male relatives? Is it because her sisters married into those families, or is it just the time period? I would think that they were her male relatives more than her not having any at the moment.

I prefer seasons 1 & 3 of Bridgerton, mainly because you see how gentlemanly Simon and Colin both are. The only character that I really can't get behind is Anthoney because of how badly he treats his own siblings and other people in the first season alone. I don't really understand how he thought that Colin "compromised" Marina, when she was already with child before she ever saw Colin. I think that Anthony is the worst because he doesn't want to admit that he's done worse to others than Colin has done in season 3 or season 1.
I think that it's interesting that the King's actual reason for being mentally unsound isn't really mentioned further, other than Charlotte saying that one child died years before, but not really saying more. If you watch "Outlander", as I do, then it's clear that both shows are in the same time frame, but it's shown very differently in "Outlander". I think that maybe this series isn't as focused on the history aspect of the time period as much as it is on the different characters and plots that are developed for each character. I think that "Outlander", aside from the time travel aspect, is really more focused on the history as well as the characters. I say this because season two and season three, are focused on the Battle of Culloden and the aftermath of what happened during that battle.
Where's the King in season three??? I know that he has dementia and/or altzimers in the show, but it seems like they've gotten rid of him in the third season. I haven't read any of the books, but it does seem odd that the Queen also doesn't mention him at all during the season. Is he still considered to be alive to the members of the Ton?
Maybe it's just me, but I love the Little Mermaid movie ~~ The 1989 version is what I've seen more than the 2023 version ~~ but I get some serious mermaid color vibes in the dresses in the current season. I don't know if it was decided because Penelope is a redhead or just because she's trying to be more adult than what her mom thinks is adult.
I find that, for me, the most relatable character is Penelope. I think that for me she's more relateable by being the one person in her family who is either ignored or over looked, and her family doesn't seem to care in any way. I know personally what it's like to be treated like Penelope by my family because I've been ignored by my family far more times than I would like to admit to. I think that why season three Penelope is so refreshing from the first two is that she stopped pining for Colin, and started focusing on other men, like her mirror Lord Debling. I think that Lord Debling is Pen's reflective person who sees her and wants to know her more than the other men want to. I will say that Penelope is also the strongest female character in the show, from the start, because of who she is, or who the town knows as Lady Whistledown. I don't think that any other of the female characters would dare to do what she's done, and I think that she is perfect for the wallflower charater type so that other women can relate to her. I do feel bad for her with her mom being how she is.
