?? straight forward. when is the wiki adding the netflix versions?
1) This is the reported for timeline for Season 3 of Bridgerton: "Season 3 of Bridgerton, set in 1815, focuses on Colin and Penelope's romance."
2) This is the reported timeline for Queen Charlotte: "1817
The death of Princess Charlotte, the royal heir, prompts the queen to pressure her children to marry and produce another heir. The series is set after the events of Bridgerton season two, but before season three."
There's a conflict there - how do the events of 1817 (Queen Charlotte) occur BEFORE Season 3 of 1815 (Bridgerton) ??
AND ... if 1815 does in fact come before the events of 1817, why is there no mention of Lord Anderson (Lady Danbury's brother and love interest of Violet Bridgerton in Season 3) in Queen Charlotte ??
When I watch S3Ep4 ~~ the Old Friends episode ~~ how are the guys that Penelope's sisters married aren't considered male relatives? Is it because her sisters married into those families, or is it just the time period? I would think that they were her male relatives more than her not having any at the moment.
Where's the King in season three??? I know that he has dementia and/or altzimers in the show, but it seems like they've gotten rid of him in the third season. I haven't read any of the books, but it does seem odd that the Queen also doesn't mention him at all during the season. Is he still considered to be alive to the members of the Ton?
Maybe it's just me, but I love the Little Mermaid movie ~~ The 1989 version is what I've seen more than the 2023 version ~~ but I get some serious mermaid color vibes in the dresses in the current season. I don't know if it was decided because Penelope is a redhead or just because she's trying to be more adult than what her mom thinks is adult.
Who else was digusted by the story of Lady Danbury and Lord Herman Danbury. Like he was much older and they were forced to married. I did not like all the scenes they shot together. I was really disgusted by him.
Does anyone know why Kate never called Mary as "Mother" (even if she knew her since she was 3yo) but the twins Oliver&Amanda called Eloise "Mother" right after her wedding to their father Sir Phillip ? (and they were older, 8yo) ?
I know Julia wrote that Sir Phillip chose to remarry — and chose Eloise, that is — because he felt like the twins needed a mother to "school" them a bit, but almost the same was said about Kate's father; that after losing Kate's mother so horribly when their daughter was 3 years old, he felt like she needed a mother and that's why he remarried so soon after Kate's mother's death....
And I know Kate loves Mary fiercely (she even named her last daughter after her!! See the 2nd epilogue from When He Was Wicked) but I really can't understand why Kate never called Mary "Mother"....

I find that, for me, the most relatable character is Penelope. I think that for me she's more relateable by being the one person in her family who is either ignored or over looked, and her family doesn't seem to care in any way. I know personally what it's like to be treated like Penelope by my family because I've been ignored by my family far more times than I would like to admit to. I think that why season three Penelope is so refreshing from the first two is that she stopped pining for Colin, and started focusing on other men, like her mirror Lord Debling. I think that Lord Debling is Pen's reflective person who sees her and wants to know her more than the other men want to. I will say that Penelope is also the strongest female character in the show, from the start, because of who she is, or who the town knows as Lady Whistledown. I don't think that any other of the female characters would dare to do what she's done, and I think that she is perfect for the wallflower charater type so that other women can relate to her. I do feel bad for her with her mom being how she is.
OMG! The season3 ended with so many clues!!!!!
Francesca will again have her own season.
Benedict will be the star in S4.
Dear gentle readers, check out the historical accuracies from our beloved Bridgerton!
Romantic scene on season 3 episode 2, two girl in bed with Colin, played by India Lillie Davies as Sasha, and Barbara D'Alessio as the other girl.
I don't understand why Shonda Rhimes in S3E1 at 48 minutes would have Penelope sitting in the garden with a very lightweight hot summer dress on, and Colin comes out to meet with her. Colin has four winter layers on with a heavy wool winter coat, a wool jacket under the coat, a silk shirt, and other clothes. Colin could be in sub-zero and still be warm, and Penelope is dressed like she's in the hot tropics. This is totally unlike the reality of the times.
At the end of season 2 Portia Featherington managed to get rid of Jack and forge a letter by him stating that should his cousin Prudence, Phillipa or Penelope have a son that son will be the new lord Featherington.
Now at the time I didn't think much of it, other than a great moment from Portia. But now it raises the question. Which of the three Featherington girls will have a son first and have control of the Featherington estate?
Now yes we all love Penelope, but will it really be fitting for her story to go in this direction? Especially since its such a change from the books. For Penelope & Colin to be parents to a Baron and tied to the estate, when in the books they were more like free spirits.
What do you think? Who do you think will have a son first? And are you enjoying this show only plot about the Featherington family?
I was just curious about how many seasons you think the show will run for cause my sister is completely obsessed with the show and the fact that she has to wait for season three is driving her crazy

Hi. I'm new to this site. I'm doing a reread at the moment and decided to look at the family tree on Ms Quinn's website. I have a question about it that I hope someone on here may have the answer for. She has some spouses listed for Daphne and Simon's daughters, Amelia and Caroline and for Sir Phillip's daughter Amanda. Can anyone help me figure out if I missed something along the way? I read these books 15+ years ago and I absolutely adore them, but now i feel a little lost. lol Thanks in advance for any help.
Hey guys, I'm translating the wiki to brazilian portuguese and I've noted that there are two characters in the "Swish" episode, the link's there but the page wasn't created. Maybe you haven't realized before
What if Benedicts love, Sophie Beckett, turned out to be the illegitimate daughter of the late Duke of Hastings (instead of some Earl). Wouldn’t that be a delightful twist offering splendid oppotunities for new love complications, intertwining the Bridgerton siblings lives and advancing them together? It could mean revisiting the duke and duchess of Hastings story (without repeating) with lavish masquerade balls, mix ups and seeing the Hastings shouldering the task of keeping true love and a happy ending interesting in the ever. after.
