Anne Hartigan is one of the debutantes in 1815.
History[]
Lady Whistledown described Anne as mild-mannered and said she'd appeal to genteel suitors. However, when she debuted in front of the queen, she, along with all the other debutantes, failed to impress her.
Later, at Lady Danbury's Four Seasons ball, she talked to some other debutantes about embroidery, a hobby of hers.[1]
Anne was at the modiste with Sita Malhotra when Eloise Bridgerton got their attention and told them the queen was still looking for a debutante to impress her.[2]
Anne attended the hot air balloon debut. After watching Colin pull on the ropes to stop the untethered hot air balloon from hitting Penelope Featherington, Anne and other ladies declared him a hero and applauded his actions.[3]
When the queen was searching for any information that would help them find Lady Whistledown, Anne chased down a delivery boy, hoping to get information from him. She twisted her ankle in the pursuit and learned that most of the delivery boy's customers lived in Mayfair, leading her to conclude that Lady Whistledown also lived in Mayfair.[4]
