Clara Livingston is one of the 1815 debutantes.
History[]
Clara made her debut to the queen at the start of the 1815 season, where she, along with all the other debutantes, failed to impress the queen.
The next day, at a social event, Clara talked to Francesca Bridgerton, Anne Hartigan, and Sita Malhotra about what they wanted in their husbands.[1]
At a ball, Clara overheard Eloise Bridgerton tell Cressida Cowper that Colin Bridgerton was helping Penelope Featherington find a husband, a scandal. Clara quickly spread the rumor around the room.[2]
When news got out that Cressida Cowper was claiming to be Lady Whistledown, Clara said she'd turn to writing slander too if she were an old maid like Cressida.[3]
Clara attended the Dankworth-Finch Ball, where Penelope shocked everyone by revealing that she was Lady Whistledown and also pleaded for their forgiveness, promising to aim her quill more responsibly. Once she was finished, the queen said she appeared humbled, leading the way for the ton to forgive her.[4]
