Lord Herman Danbury was Lady Danbury's husband.
History[]
King George's Wedding[]
Mr. Danbury was surprised to receive an invitation to the king's wedding for himself and his wife. When they arrived at the wedding, he was further surprised to have Princess Augusta give him the title of Lord Danbury. She told them that it was time they were united as a society and they'd receive the official proclamation from the king soon.[1]
Even with his new title, Lord Danbury found himself unable to enjoy the privileges other titled men did, such as entering White's and going on hunting trips. He took out his frustration with increased marital relations with his wife. When he learned that the dowager princess wanted to meet with Lady Danbury, he was upset as his family was the one connected to the royal family.[2]
When Lady Danbury was invited to tea with Princess Augusta, Lord Danbury asked why he couldn't attend. She told him it was a ladies' tea. He suggested she propose hosting the first ball of the season. She tried to refuse, but when he suggested she stay home from tea instead, she agreed to address it.
After the tea, Lady Danbury told him Princess Augusta wasn't very enthusiastic about them throwing the ball. He didn't believe that there would be a ball and Lady Danbury reassured him, saying he was every bit as good as the other members of the ton.
Ball and Death[]
The ball went forward and Lord Danbury worried that no one would come. Lady Danbury assured him they would. The first to arrive were Lord and Lady Ledger. Lord Ledger invited Lord Danbury to join one of his hunts. Later, the king and queen arrived.
After all the guests had left, Lord Danbury and Lady Danbury were having sex when Lord Danbury suddenly stopped, then fell to the ground dead.[3]
