  • The horse Jonathan rides in season 2 is a Spanish Friesian named Jack.[1]
  • Jonathan and his co-star Luke Newton, who portrays Colin, both originally auditioned for the role of Simon Basset, the Duke.[2][3]
    • Jonathan was offered the role of Anthony on his 31st birthday, 25 April 2019.[4]
  • If Jonathan weren't an actor, he would be a primary school teacher. He considers teachers to be modern-day heroes and loves seeing his niece in her nativities at school. He thinks being a part of the next generation's formative years is special.[5]
