Kate Bridgerton (née Sharma) is the Viscountess Bridgerton by virtue of her marriage to Anthony.
History[]
Childhood[]
Her own parents are dead. Despite Kate being her father's daughter from his first marriage, Lady Mary, his second wife, treated Kate as if she were her own. She had lived her whole life in India before coming to England to marry off her sister. Kate and Lady Mary raised Edwina together to become an exquisite lady. When they started to run low on funds, they used the last of their money on their trip to England.
1814 Social Season[]
In England, Lady Danbury sponsored them, so Edwina could find a suitable husband. Kate went riding in the woods, crossing paths with a gentleman and exchanging witty banter with him until she left and returned to Lady Danbury's. Lady Danbury asked about Kate's prospects, but Kate told her she had no plans of her own to wed and was focused on marrying Edwina off. She later helped Edwina gather confidence for the ball that night, despite the controversy of her parents' marriage, and reminded her of her goals and what she wanted in a husband.
Lady Danbury and the Sharmas arrived at the ball, where they met with Queen Charlotte, who remarked coldly to Mary about her elopement years before. Kate recognized the gentleman she met horse riding, and Lady Danbury identified him as Anthony Bridgerton, a viscount and the most eligible bachelor of the season. Kate stepped out to the terrace and overheard Anthony talking to some other noblemen, hearing him say he was planning to marry a lady of noble stock and beauty for convenience, not for love. She tried to sneak away, but Anthony found her, and she berated him for the way he spoke of and treated eligible women. She told him that his character was lacking and bid him goodnight.
In the following days, Kate chaperoned Edwina as she received callers, who saw her as an obstacle. Lady Danbury later confronted Kate about a letter she received from the Sheffields, Mary's parents. Kate explained in order to get a dowry from the Sheffields, Edwina had to marry an English nobleman, revealing that her family had always struggled and hidden it from Edwina, and the dowry and marriage would ensure she lived happily. Kate believed that if Edwina knew about the terms of her inheritance, she would marry any nobleman who asked whether she loved him or not. Kate wanted Edwina to marry for love.
The Sharmas attended the queen's ball with Lady Danbury and reappeared before the queen. Kate smiled in joy when Edwina was named the season's diamond, knowing that it made her chances of finding a love match with a nobleman all the better. Kate thanked Lady Danbury for persuading the queen. However, when she saw Anthony pursuing Edwina, she pulled Edwina away, telling Edwina not to go near him.[1]
Royal Races and Lady Danbury's Soirée[]
Wanting to keep Edwina away from Anthony, Kate compiled a list of potential candidates for Edwina to marry. She shared the list with Edwina, Mary, and Lady Danbury. Mary and Lady Danbury questioned the list, but Edwina said she believed in it if Kate did. Lady Danbury noticed Anthony wasn't on the list, and Kate said that was because he wanted to marry only to fulfill his duty. Lady Danbury reminded her that most marriages were business arrangements and love matches were rare. Despite this, Kate told Edwina that she knew she was looking for and shouldn't forget that. She'd find a better match and forget all about Anthony.
Edwina then welcomed many suitors. While she spoke to Lord Lumley, Kate left the room and talked to the waiting suitors, who were upset at the long wait. She assured them all that they wouldn't want their time interrupted any more than Lumley. When she saw that Anthony was there, she told him he was late and was now at the end of a very long line. He said he was fine to wait, but he wanted to take Edwina to the Royal Races. Kate said Edwina already had an escort and suggested she might be free around December if she wasn't married by then.
Kate went to the Royal Races, where Lumley escorted Edwina. Thomas Dorset approached them and asked Lady Danbury to make introductions. She did, but said Edwina already had an escort. He told her he was more interested in Kate. They found their seats and began talking. Anthony approached and Dorset introduced himself. Anthony then used a ruse to get Lumley out of the way so he could take Lumley's place between Edwina and Kate. As they waited for the race to start, Anthony told Kate that his pick to win was Nectar. Kate said he hadn't accounted for many things, and High Flyer was her prediction to win. When the race started, Kate was enthusiastic and unrestrained as she cheered them on. When High Flyer won as she'd predicted, she gloated, saying she'd never bested a viscount before. When Anthony took Edwina to see one of the horses up close, Dorset said that Anthony never did like to lose, tipping Kate off that they had lied about not knowing each other. Kate realized he was meant to distract Kate, so Anthony could get closer to Edwina. Kate went to get Edwina, telling her they were leaving and telling Anthony never to speak to Edwina or herself again. Anthony said that he meant no harm and only wanted to spend time with her.
At a visit with the queen, Edwina defended Anthony's actions, saying Kate had given him no other choice. When they returned home, they told their mother that the queen was quite taken with Edwina. Lady Danbury decided to throw a party, so Edwina could get to know all of her suitors better. Kate then heard a noise outside and looked down to see Anthony with a horse. He said he'd gotten it for Edwina. Kate tried to get him to leave, but Edwina found them before he did. She thanked him for the gesture, but said she preferred smaller pets and the horse she'd mentioned adoring was from a novel.
At the soirée, they watched as several suitors showed off their talents in an attempt to woo Edwina. Kate was pleased to see the men making fools of themselves for once. At the party, she met Anthony's sister Eloise, whom she liked. After Lord Lumley recited poetry, Lady Danbury thanked the men for sharing their talents, but as she prepared to wrap things up, Anthony came in, asking for a turn. He started to recite a poem he claimed he'd written, but then admitted that it wasn't his and told Edwina that he couldn't display passion or love, but he would never lack in duty or action. After he'd left, Kate said that his words meant he couldn't give Edwina the love she deserved, but Edwina thought his honesty made him a gentleman.
Lady Danbury came to Kate's room and told her she should return to the party. Kate was upset that Anthony was manipulating her sister, but Lady Danbury advised her to focus on her own needs. Kate said she would become a governess and be content in her life alone, like Lady Danbury. Lady Danbury corrected that she was a widow and had lived a full life. Kate wasn't like her.[3]
Visit to Aubrey Hall[]
Anthony invited the Sharmas and Lady Danbury to come to Aubrey Hall ahead of their other guests, so the two families could get to know each other better. Edwina was convinced she would secure a proposal by the time the other guests arrived. When they arrived, Kate's dog Newton barked at Anthony aggressively, though Anthony said both her and the dog's opinion of him would change. Anthony's sister Daphne Basset witnessed their exchange, and assumed Kate was Edwina until she was corrected.
As Daphne placed the wickets for their game of Pall-Mall, she explained the gist of the game to Kate, who said she thought she'd enjoy the game. She accurately predicted that Anthony would be the most ruthless, cutthroat player. When the time came to choose their mallets, the siblings let their guest choose first and Kate unknowingly took the mallet Anthony preferred to use, which she teased him for. Kate played well while Anthony struggled. When she had the opportunity to use her turn to hit his ball into the woods, she took it, only to find her own ball following it on when his brother Colin did the same. Rather than accept defeat, they went to the woods. They found their balls side by side in a bog. To test Anthony's integrity, Kate suggested they could just grab the balls out and no one would know. Anthony knew what she was doing and that she would immediately tell the others if he did so, so he started to consider his options. While he was thinking, Kate waded into the muck and hit her ball out. Anthony followed suite with his own ball. Kate got stuck trying to leave the muck, so Anthony tried to help her out, only to find himself falling in as well. As they finally got out, Anthony asked what he had to do to earn her favor. She said she only wanted her sister to be happy. He asked her for a fresh start. Kate agreed, then used her next turn to hit his ball away again. When he saw where it landed and heard Daphne celebrating her win on the other side of the trees, he declared the game over and left. Kate went to get the ball herself and saw that it had landed near the grave of his father, Edmund Bridgerton.
That night, Edwina told Kate that she had had a wonderful conversation with Anthony, and she was sure a proposal was coming. The next morning, Kate was having her tea when Eloise came out and joined her. She asked Eloise about Edmund's grave, and Eloise assured her that it wasn't her fault because Anthony rarely goes near the area. Eloise then asked if Kate had wanted to remain unmarried, and Kate remarked that unmarried women were not always welcome in society.
That evening, Kate was having dinner with the entire Bridgerton family when Lady Danbury suggested Anthony make a toast. He thanked the Sharmas and Lady Danbury for joining them, but didn't formally propose to Edwina. When Edwina was feeling as though she'd done something wrong, Kate consoled her, reminding her that she was the season's diamond and she had choices.
The next morning, Kate told Anthony that Edwina was still not feeling well. He told her that he still planned to propose, but she felt that he was just making excuses. Anthony started to panic when a bee flew near them and landed on Kate. This panic worsened when the bee stung her. When she saw that he was hyperventilating, Kate took Anthony's hand and placed it on her chest to show him she was okay. Slowly, he calmed down. Once he was calm, he started to lean toward her, but when a nearby horse whinnied, he pulled back, and they ran in opposite directions.[4]
Believing that the tension between Kate and Anthony was holding Anthony back from proposing, Edwina decided that she needed Anthony to fall in love with Kate. She set it up so Kate would join the men on their hunt. On the hunt, Kate became impatient when they weren't finding anything and left on her own. Anthony followed her and the two of them shared a moment when he leaned behind her to help her with her gun. This moment was interrupted when the other men approached.
That night, Kate told Edwina that the hunt was unsuccessful, which she attributed to the men not listening to her, but said that things went well with Anthony, and she believed things would be moving along. After Edwina went to bed, Kate was kept up by a storm and went to the library, where Anthony joined her, also awake in the middle of the night. They talked about their fathers dying, and Anthony told her that his had died of a bee sting, which she understood as the reason her being stung scared him so much. The two of them shared another moment, but it was interrupted when a clap of thunder startled them. Kate left to go back to bed.
The next day, at the ball, Edwina set Kate and Anthony up to dance so that Kate could give him her blessing. As they danced, Anthony asked if she'd give her blessing if he asked for it. She told him she only wanted her sister to be happy. Then she told him she would be returning to India as soon as her sister was married. When the song ended, Anthony immediately left the dance floor. When Edwina asked where he'd gone, Kate said she'd go find him.
Kate followed Anthony to his office. They argued, but then stepped close to each other. Just as they were about to kiss, Daphne came in and they jumped apart.
That night, Kate talked to Lady Danbury, who told Kate to be honest about what she was feeling and why she was getting in the way of what her family needed for survival. She then told Kate to be honest with Edwina about how she was feeling.
The next morning, as they prepared to leave, Kate said she was sorry that Anthony hadn't proposed, but Anthony came out of the house right then and proposed to Edwina, who happily accepted.[5]
Dinner with the Sheffields[]
Kate struggled with their engagement amid her feelings for Anthony, even as Edwina credited Kate with getting Anthony to propose.
When Edwina was running late to have the ring sized to her hand, the jeweler, Mr. Brookes, suggested using Kate's hand instead. Kate resisted, but Mr. Brookes insisted. After Mr. Brookes put the ring on Kate's finger, Anthony ran his finger over it and said his father had given it to his mother before they got married. Their moment was interrupted when Edwina and Mary entered the room. Lady Danbury then came in with news that Mary's parents were in town. She decided to invite them to the engagement dinner. When Mary suddenly claimed a headache, Lady Danbury conscripted Kate to help chaperone Anthony and Edwina on their promenade.
Kate was upset that Lady Danbury invited them because she wanted the reunion to wait until after the wedding, as Edwina didn't know about the dowry agreement. Lady Danbury questioned if she wanted the engagement to be called off because that would cause a scandal, a scandal that could ruin a family. Kate said she wouldn't do that and went with Thomas Dorset on a walk. They walked for a while, then got into a boat, where Dorset tried to convince Kate to stay in England. She told him she was counting the days until she could return to India. When they finished their boat ride, Anthony said that the knot Dorset had tied wouldn't hold and re-tied it. Then he offered his hand to Kate to help her out of the boat. She took it, but after their hands lingered, she pulled back, startling him and sending him and Dorset into the water. Both she and Edwina stared as Anthony climbed out of the water.
Before the dinner with the Sheffields, Kate talked to Mary and told her it was okay if she skipped the dinner. Mary talked to Kate about her struggles with her parents, whom she hadn't seen since the night she got engaged. Mary told Kate that she had been forced to choose between her parents and her heart, and she chose her heart, a decision she didn't regret. She never wanted her daughters to have to choose between affluence and love, and she was delighted that that was happening. Kate half-heartedly said they'd all be perfectly happy.
Kate and Edwina got ready for the dinner, but Kate was distracted, which she claimed was due to a headache. When Lady Danbury told them the guests had arrived, she held Kate back to tell her that a life of independence was more than a consolation prize for getting the man she wanted. Many would even consider it better.
Kate met the Sheffields, who snubbed her in favor of doting on Edwina. At dinner, the Sheffields made offensive remarks about Mary's decision to marry for love instead of the match they had found for her and about Kate. They also revealed the deal they'd made to provide Edwina's dowry and a trust fund for her. The conversation ended when an upset Anthony told the Sheffields they needed to leave because he wouldn't stand for them insulting Kate or the other Sharmas. Then Anthony and his mother left. Once they were gone, Edwina also left the table.
Kate followed Anthony out and insisted on speaking to him. He sent Violet home ahead of him and stayed to talk to Kate, who told them Edwina didn't know about the deal she'd made. Anthony said he believed that, but put all the blame for the scheme on Kate. Kate said there was no scheming. Anthony said that without the Sheffields' support, there would be no dowry, so they might as well call off the engagement. Kate was shocked that he cared about the dowry and upset at him for suggesting calling off the wedding. Then Anthony said that he was raised to be honorable, but he was having a hard time sticking to it because of Kate. If he married Edwina, he would still think and dream of Kate night and day. They nearly kissed, but he pulled back before their lips could touch. He said he'd spend his whole marriage wanting Kate and asked if that was the future she wanted for them, then left without waiting for her answer.
Kate went to Edwina that night, and Edwina told her she felt betrayed because Kate didn't tell her about the deal she'd made. She was upset because she was a grown woman capable of making her own decisions. Edwina still wanted to go forward with the marriage if Anthony was still willing, and she felt that he would be happy to support Mary and Kate as well. She said she loved Anthony because of how he defended their family so nobly.
The next morning, Kate met up with Anthony, who had decided to end things with Edwina. Kate begged him not to and asked him instead to marry Edwina as quickly as he could, believing the feeling between them would pass. He said he'd see to it and then rode away. Once he was gone, she started to cry.[6]
Anthony and Edwina's Wedding[]
The night before Anthony and Edwina's wedding, Kate and Mary helped Edwina with her Haldi ceremony. Edwina told them how excited she was to be getting married, though she told Kate she was worried Anthony didn't truly love her because he didn't look at her. Kate told her that true love was more than that.
As Edwina dressed for the wedding the next day, Kate offered her two bangles, which had belonged to Kate's mother. She took them initially, but later told Kate she wouldn't feel right wearing them, as they were meant for Kate. She asked Kate to wear them instead. After they got ready, the ceremony began and Kate stood by her sister's side. When the time came for Anthony to repeat his vows, one of the bangles fell from Kate's wrist. Anthony picked it up and put it back on her. He tried to resume the wedding, but Edwina, having observed the interaction, stopped it and ran out of the wedding, followed by Mary and Kate.
Outside, Edwina confronted Kate, saying she knew Kate had feelings for Anthony. Kate tried to deny it, but Edwina knew and was angry that Kate kept it from her. Mary consoled Edwina and sent Kate away.
Kate hid and when she emerged, she saw Anthony. She tried to leave, but he told her they needed to talk. He wanted her to talk to Edwina, but Kate said she couldn't. She felt that she'd ruined Edwina's life. She tried to leave, but he stopped her, and they made prolonged eye contact before she finally pulled away from him and left.
Kate then went to Edwina, who was still angry with her. Kate said she never meant to hurt Edwina. She admitted to her feelings, but said they paled in comparison to what she felt for Edwina and her feelings for him didn't matter. Edwina told her that Anthony had said the same thing and wondered if they'd prepared it together ahead of time. Kate said that she'd promised not to consider herself until she ensured that her mother and sister were cared for. She did that without regret and would do it again. Edwina told Kate that she could make her own decisions, including whether or not to marry Anthony.
Later, Kate got a note from Anthony asking her to meet him. She arrived to find that Edwina had actually been the one to summon both of them. Edwina said she couldn't marry Anthony because it would mean betraying herself because he would never love her like he loved Kate. She also said that Kate had given Edwina everything Kate wanted, which wasn't what Edwina wanted. Edwina then left. Alone in the church, Kate and Anthony talked about failing their duties, and then they shared a kiss.[7]
Harmony Ball and Accident[]
In the aftermath of the canceled wedding, Lady Danbury reminded all the Sharmas to say that it was a mutual decision between Anthony and Edwina. She also shared hope that the ton would quickly forget about the scandal when the next one came along. After they realized they were being shunned by everyone else, along with the Bridgertons, Lady Danbury and Violet decided to throw a ball together, to prove there was no ill will between the two families. Kate and Anthony objected, but were overruled and told in order to sell it, they'd have to stay far apart during the event.
At the art gallery, Edwina told Kate that the other young ladies seemed to be buying the story they'd put out. Edwina was still upset with Kate, who apologized again for lying to her. Edwina asked if Kate had ever believed in true love, and Kate said she did because she'd seen it in their parents. Edwina said that ended in tragedy because happy endings don't exist in real life. At the event, Anthony tried to talk to her, but she avoided him and said they had nothing to talk about. What they did was terrible, and they should be ashamed because he was her sister's intended.
Kate went with her family to the ball at the Bridgertons', but they were all shocked when no one else from the ton showed up. Anthony decided that instead of cancelling, they could all dance together, even the little kids. After a lively dance, they noticed that the maids were reading the latest Whistledown and asked about it. They learned that they were further shrouded in scandal because Whistledown had reported that Eloise was associating with political radicals.
After the event dispersed, Kate went outside to sit in the gazebo. Soon after, Anthony found her. They argued for a while and then began kissing and ultimately made love in the gazebo. Afterward, they fell asleep. Kate woke first and returned to her room, overcome with emotion. Then she left and took her horse for a run, despite the rain. Anthony found her just as her horse got startled, rearing back and dumping her on the ground.[8]
Anthony covered an unconscious Kate with his jacket and carried her back to a waiting horse-cart. Then he took her back to Lady Danbury's, where a surgeon looked at her. After several days, Kate finally woke up. She said she remembered riding in the park and falling. She asked if Anthony came to see her while she was unconscious. Lady Danbury said he brought her back home, but hadn't been to visit.
Once he heard that she was awake, Anthony came to visit Kate. She thanked him for bringing her home safely. He apologized for taking liberties with her and asked her to marry him. She stopped him, saying he didn't have to propose, and she was going back to India once things were resolved with Edwina. Lady Danbury had offered to host her and Mary for another season to give Edwina another chance to marry, and she was sure they'd do find on their own. Anthony accused her of running away, so she asked him to leave.
Kate went to see Edwina and said she wanted to earn Edwina's trust back. Edwina asked if there was always something between her and Anthony. Kate said there probably was, but she was lying to herself about it, and then it was too late. She didn't tell Edwina because she thought she could deny her true feelings, but then she couldn't. Edwina said she wanted to get to know the true Kate and to know herself the same way. She wanted them both to present their true selves at the Featherington ball.
As Kate prepared for her return to India, she told Mary she wasn't sure she'd come to the ball. Mary cautioned her not to return to India to escape something difficult. Kate started crying and said she felt that everything that had happened was her fault. Mary said it was her fault, that she left Kate to guide Edwina alone when she shouldn't have. Kate felt like she owed Mary for treating her as her own, but Mary said she never had to do that because she loved Kate from the moment she met her. Kate then told Mary about Anthony's proposal, which she rejected because it was out of obligation. She didn't believe he really loved her.
Despite her hesitation, Kate went to the ball, where people whispered as she entered with her family. Kate told Edwina she wanted one last night with her before leaving. The two sisters danced together, not caring what people would say about them.
Later, Edwina told Kate she wouldn't be able to avoid Anthony all night and shouldn't try. She told Kate to be her true self and do something for herself for once. As Edwina walked away, Anthony approached and suggested they keep their distance. She stopped him by saying maybe they shouldn't. She asked if he'd ask her to dance, and he asked if she'd say yes. He led her onto the dance floor, and they danced together while everyone watched. Despite all the eyes on them, they kept dancing. After they finished, they held hands until Portia herded everyone outside for a surprise.
Anthony found Kate in the garden and asked if she was still planning to leave. Kate said she had her family's blessing and there were no obstacles preventing it. Anthony told her he didn't visit her after her accident because he was so afraid of losing her. He's loved her since they first raced together. After his confession, she said she loved him too. Anthony said he wanted a life that suited them both and that he wanted to marry her. She said there would never be a day he didn't vex her. As fireworks started, Kate accepted his proposal and they kissed.
Six months later, Anthony and Kate were enjoying a morning in bed when she reminded him they needed to meet his family for Pall Mall. They joined the family and argued over the mallet of death. While they were arguing, Newton picked up one of the balls and ran off with it. Anthony said that Newton took Kate's turn because he's her dog, but Kate said Newton was his dog through marriage. Their arguing turned to embracing, and Anthony suggested they could go back upstairs. Kate said that would be admitting defeat, and she wouldn't do that.[9]
1815 Season[]
Anthony and Kate returned from their honeymoon for his sister Francesca's debut. Anthony's brother Colin also returned from traveling just in time to join them.
Anthony and Kate struggled to continue their intimacy with his large family in the same house as them, so after Lady Danbury's ball, Kate suggested they extend their honeymoon, saying it would give her more time between running the Sharma home and having to run the Bridgerton home. It would also allow them to focus on producing an heir. It would also give Violet more time being the viscountess, a role she loved.[10]
Anthony and Kate returned home with the news that Kate was pregnant. However, they didn't immediately share the news with their family, as they learned that Colin and Penelope Featherington were engaged.
In bed, Anthony and Kate decided to keep the news to themselves for a while longer, deciding that it wasn't the right time to share with everything else going on.
At Colin and Penelope's betrothal party, which Kate planned, Francesca introduced them to John Stirling. He tried to tell them a story, but struggled with his words and was unable to get through it.
Later, Anthony started a game of charades in the drawing room. While the game was going on, he and Kate decided it was time to share their news. They told Violet and Lady Danbury first, and they were both happy, but when they went to tell everyone else, they were interrupted by Cressida Cowper standing up and declaring herself Lady Whistledown, followed by Penelope collapsing.[11]
The night before Colin and Penelope's wedding, Anthony and Kate talked to Colin at Violet's request. They told him that marriage was hard work and encouraged him not to let whatever thing he'd learned about her ruin their whole relationship, as they'd been friends for years. The next day, they attended the wedding.
At the wedding breakfast, Anthony and Kate talked about Edwina, who was happy in India with her new husband. Kate expressed how much she missed her home in India, and Anthony suggested they go there. He said if they left right away, they'd have time to get settled before the baby came. When she questioned them having the baby away from their home, he said that the baby would be a Bridgerton, but they would also be a Sharma, and he wanted them to know about that, and he wanted him to learn their culture so they could teach it to their child together.
When Anthony noticed Violet talking to Marcus and commented on it, Kate reminded him that their family was happy and urged him not to take that for granted.
The party abruptly ended when the queen came in and dismissed everyone except the Bridgertons. She knew one of them was Lady Whistledown and urged her to reveal herself. Anthony insisted that if something like that were happening under his roof, he would have known and stopped it. The queen backed off, but said she'd figure it out soon.[2]

Memorable Quotes[]
- Kate: It is not a man's appearance or title that will woo you. It is his mind and spirit that will court yours. He will speak in a manner that only your heart can hear. That is what you are looking for. That is the true love you deserve.[1]
- Kate: After my father died, Mama and I did the best we could to raise Edwina, all so she would never know of our struggles. But our money ran low. We used the last for this very journey.[1]
- Kate: I've spent the last eight years raising my sister to walk in the right way, to talk in the right way, to play the pianoforte just so. Teaching her twice as much and watching her work twice as hard as anyone else.[1]
- Kate: I even taught her how to make this pitiful excuse of a tea the English so adore. I despise English tea.[1]
- Edwina: You told me Appa always said it takes a courageous man to go after what he truly wants.
- Kate: Appa also said the mark of a true gentleman is honesty.[3]
- Kate: You do not remember when Appa died, when the world fell out from beneath us. And so, to save us from an even worse fate, I promised I would not consider myself until you and Mama were taken care of. I gave what I had without regret, and I would do it again, Bon. I still do it. I give what I have in order to protect you.[7]
- Kate: There's a river just outside the home where I grew up. On hot days, I would sneak away to soak my feet. The turtles and I became quite good friends.[6]
- Kate: I did not ask for this. To be plagued by these feelings. Hiding from my sister. Being driven to distraction every time you enter the room.[6]
- Kate: It has been you this entire time, spinning my world off its axis, making me reconsider everything I have ever told myself.[8]
- Anthony: Our marriage is not hard work.
- Kate: You are wearisome tonight.[2]
