Mrs. Wilson is the housekeeper of the Bridgerton house.

History[]

Edmund's Death[]

When Edmund died abruptly while Violet was pregnant with their eighth child, Violet struggled to accept his death. Mrs. Wilson tried to comfort her, but Violet rejected her aid, so Mrs. Wilson suggested they call for a doctor for her.[1]

1813 Social Season[]

Mrs. Wilson hastily informed the Bridgerton ladies when they received a letter from the queen inviting Lady Bridgerton to tea. Mrs. Wilson accompanied Lady Bridgerton to this outing and as they left, Lady Bridgerton, inspired by something the queen had said, told her that they needed to have Lady Berbrooke over for tea. They used the opportunity to gather gossip, which they used to end the relationship between Nigel Berbrooke and Daphne.[2]

Mrs. Wilson returned to her quarters one night to find Eloise looking through her things. When pressed, Eloise admitted that she thought Mrs. Wilson was Lady Whistledown. Mrs. Wilson laughed at the idea, saying if she had the kind of money Lady Whistledown obviously had, she would not be working for the Bridgertons. She assured Eloise that servants were far too busy for it to be one of them.[3]

The morning after Lady Trowbridge's party, Mrs. Wilson tended to Lady Bridgerton, who was insistent that she had not had too much to drink and was simply poorly. Mrs. Wilson went to fetch raw eggs and garlic for her, but when she returned, she found the drink unnecessary as Lady Bridgerton was celebrating Daphne's engagement.

Mrs. Wilson later told Rose all the things she'd need to do for Daphne as Daphne prepared to be married.[4]

When Colin departed to begin his travels, Mrs. Wilson was among those who saw him off.[5]

1814 Social Season[]

When the Bridgertons arranged to have visitors come to Aubrey Hall for a party, Violet asked Mrs. Wilson to show their arriving guests to their rooms.[6]

Hearts and Flowers Ball[]

Mrs. Wilson helped prepare the house for the Bridgertons' annual Hearts and Flowers ball. Violet instructed her in all the guests' preferences.[7]

Harmony Ball[]

When Violet planned a ball to show everyone that there was no ill will between her family and the Sharmas, Mrs. Wilson told her when the invitations were ready to go out. When no one showed up to the ball aside from the two families, Mrs. Wilson showed them the new Whistledown, which had reported that Eloise was associating with political radicals.[8]

Fetching Violet[]

Mrs. Wilson came to get Violet and inform her that Kate was looking for her.[9]

Bringing Violet's Gloves[]

Mrs. Wilson brought Violet her gloves so he could leave to go to a ball.[10]

Betrothal Party[]

Mrs. Wilson helped Kate plan a betrothal party for Colin and Penelope.[11]

Lady Whistledown[]

Violet was reading the day's Lady Whistledown, which trashed the Bridgerton family, when Mrs. Wilson came in and told her another Whistledown had arrived, this one more favorable to the family.

Later, Mrs. Wilson informed Violet that Marcus Anderson was there to call on her.[12]

Francesca's Move[]

When John and Francesca left to start their lives in Scotland, along with Eloise, who wanted to see the world a little, Mrs. Wilson stood outside with the family to see them off.[13]
