Bridgerton Wiki

Newton is a corgi owned by the Sharma family, Kate especially.

History[]

When the Sharma family went to London for Edwina's social debut, they brought Newton with them. The Sharmas brought Newton during their meeting with Lady Danbury, much to Lady Danbury's dismay. Later, Mary sent Kate to take Newton for a walk.[2]

After two suitors met with Edwina, Newton barked and jumped onto Lady Danbury's chair, annoying her.[2]

While Kate was writing a list of suitors, Newton was sitting behind her.

After Kate and Edwina's visit to Buckingham Palace, Newton is seen sitting next to Mary's chair.[3]

Mary, Kate, Edwina, Lady Danbury, and Newton rode in their carriage to Aubrey Hall to visit Anthony and his family. When Anthony welcomed their arrival, one of the servants brought Newton over. Kate told Anthony that Newton is an excellent judge of character. Anthony attemped to pet Newton, but Newton barked. Anthony said that by the end of their stay, both Kate and Newton's opinion of him would be much improved. Newton growled.

After the game of Pall-Mall, Kate sat on her bed petting Newton.

Later, Anthony noticed Newton watching him from the gap between two doors. Anthony smiled at Newton, but Newton growled. Annoyed at his failed attempt to get Newton to like him, Anthony shut the door.[4]

Newton watched as Kate returned to Aubrey Hall after her hunting trip.[5]

While standing on the dock by the lake, Anthony tripped over Newton, knocking both himself and Thomas Dorset into the lake.[6]

While the Sharmas, the Bridgertons and Lady Danbury talked about throwing a ball, Newton interrupted their conversation by running into the room and barking. Newton pawed at Anthony and Kate told Newton to go out.[7]

Just as the Bridgertons were about to play a game of Pall Mall, Newton snatched the ball and ran.[8]

Newton lay in his dog bed, watching Anthony kiss Kate's abdomen while they were in bed. After a few kisses, Kate told Anthony that they couldn't continue because Newton was watching, much to Anthony's annoyance.[9]
