Nicky Mondrich is the eldest son of Will and Alice Mondrich and the Baron of Kent.
History[]
Waking Simon[]
One morning, Simon woke up at the Mondrich house with Nicky hovering over him. His mother quickly told him to leave Simon alone, which he did.[2]
Inheritance[]
When Nicky's mother's great aunt, the Lady of Kent, died, she left her estate and the title of Baron of Kent to Nicky as he was her closest male relative. As a result, Nicky and his family were immediately moved to the Kent estate.[1] Mrs. Khanna, the housekeeper, showed the family around the estate and told them it had twenty-seven rooms in total, including servants' quarters. Alice threatened Nicky with having to clean all the rooms if he bothered Mrs. Khanna.[3]
As the family adjusted to their new lives, Nicky and his siblings played at the hot air balloon presentation.[4]
Nicky worked with his governess to learn everything he needed to know to flourish in his new role, including place settings. His governess praised him for how quickly he learned.
Nicky then went to the betrothal party for Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, where Gregory offered to show him his bow and arrow and then Gregory and Hyacinth later taught him to place chess.[5]
